message anyone you both tapped connect with: words, voice notes up to a minute, songs, stickers, reactions, photos and short videos. you can see when they read it. crew-mates you haven’t connected with yet land in a requests folder until you say yes. sensitive photos arrive blurred until you tap, and you can switch the blur off. block, report and mute are one tap. for under-18s, messages are only ever with other teens, never photos, and voice notes wait for a parent’s yes.

who can message me? only people you’re connected with: you both tapped connect, or follow each other. crew-mates you aren’t connected with can send a request, which waits in your requests folder.

can I delete a voice note or photo I sent? yes, any time. voice notes and photos are kept for 90 days, then deleted.

what happens when I report a voice note? the voice note and its written version go to our safety team, who look at it. nobody else hears it.

can teens message adults? never. teens only ever message other teens, never send or get photos, and a parent decides on voice notes and group chats.
