teens get everything; parents choose how much is on. (at launch)

a parent links their email (we send them a link, and they confirm they're the parent or guardian), then picks which features are on, whether other teens can get in touch, a daily time limit, quiet hours and a weekly summary email, and can set a PIN for quick approvals on the teen's phone. until a parent links, teens keep private, friends-only settings and can only make them stricter. some things never change: teens only ever connect with other teens, explicit songs stay clean, 18+ shows stay hidden and there's no location sharing.

how do i set up parent controls? your teen adds your email in settings, family. we email you a link: open it, confirm you're their parent or guardian, and choose their settings. you can set a PIN there for approvals on their phone.

can my teen change their own settings? they can always make them stricter. turning anything on needs you.

can adults contact my teen? no. teens only ever connect with other teens, whatever the settings.
