set up in a minute

sign up with apple, google or email, pick a name and an @username, then your houses and three artists. (at launch)

first open takes about a minute: your birthday, an account (apple, google or email), your name and @username, your houses and three artists. adults choose explicit songs on or off. teens add a parent's email so a parent can link, and start on private settings until they do. nothing you liked before signing up is lost.

why do you ask my birthday? melaüdic is 13+. your full date of birth sets what you can hear and who you can talk to: teens get clean versions and connect only with other teens.

can i use an artist's name as my username? no. artist names, and anything dressed up as an official account, are saved for the artists, so nobody can pretend to be them.

do i have to verify my email? not to get started. we send a code, and you can confirm it whenever you like from home.

how does a teen link a parent? during setup a teen adds a parent's email. the parent gets a link and finishes in their own browser. a teen can skip it and do it later from family.
